Thanks!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments! I have been busy with writing, as usual. On a good note, my knees feel wonderful! They haven't bothered me at all. Of course I haven't run yet, but the roommate and I promised each other we wouldn't run until next week.

This past weekend was my first time standing on the sidelines at a race. I cheered on Diane as she ran a 5K supporting breast cancer survivors and research. I even made a sign and took pictures. It was fantastic! I really wanted to run, but it felt good to be the cheerleader for once. After that last half marathon, I really have a greater appreciation for spectators!

I hope that everyone is doing great! Oh, and for those who haven't given up soda, I recommend that new Dr. Pepper! It tastes like a cherry tootsie pop!!

  2. I gave up soda, however, I still look for this dr pepper anomaly every time I'm out to the shop. I seriously wish it was mainstream :-(.

  5. Congratu;lations on your first half. Your profile says you'd like to run a full marathon some day. My suggestion: run a few more halfs and shorter races first. Your knee problems could be due to the fact that you are arelatively new runner and your muscles still need to get strong to run injury-free. Jumping in to a marathon to soon could sideline you. Also, get some nutritional advice: Crystal Light is not a sports drink. You're a scrawny girl, so why all the diet soda?

  6. Hello!
I am a Blogger and web developer (and artist) who has been trying to improve the blogosphere for Bloggers. The problem? Too many irrelevant press releases. Also, hard to make money.
So I invented Blogio, which is a pipeline between marketers & bloggers. The idea is to let marketers choose their niche and write RELEVANT material that bloggers might care about. Also, share the revenue with the Bloggers.
This week, we (finally) officially launched. We’re testing this new concept to see if it works. So, we have our first half dozen orders from marketers. And your blog happens to be in a niche requested by one of these marketers.
I’m asking you to take a look at Blogio. If you like what you see, open an account (there is no charge) and expect good, relevant content from Blogio. If you don’t like what you see – well, I tried. (Your comments & suggestions are welcome).
Even though you don’t know me, I ask that you take a leap of faith and consider my sincere goal – to help the blogging movement grow and prosper. Below is a snippet of the communique that we believe you would be interested in reviewing:
