The only sad part about being done with classes (FOREVER! Woo!), is that you do not see your fellow students very often. So last night I went out with a bunch of fellow PhD peeps, and we had a good time eating pizza and catching up. I look forward to getting together again soon.
This morning Caitlin and I ran 3 miles in 34:48 (average pace of 11:35). Have you ever had days where you do not have even an ounce of energy? That was me today, and it was really humid to add to that. I felt like a sloth the entire run, and I could have easily stopped at 2 miles but I'm glad we at least did 3. It makes me feel good to know I ran even though my heart was not in it today. I have a feeling next week will be better.
Tomorrow Chris and I are heading out of town to attend my little sister's high school graduation and my niece's second birthday. I hope you all have a great Friday and weekend!
This blog was started as a way of keeping myself motivated to keep working out, and the blog has been successful in that aspect. I started running in 2007, and it really has transformed my life. I have discovered so many inspiring individuals through the "blog world" and many delicious recipes. I use this blog to keep track of my training and write about the fun things in life. Keep checking back to read about my training for my first marathon, in February 2011.
I have days like that all the time! Like you said, at least you got out there and did it!
ReplyDeleteSomedays I feel like a sloth too! It happens, just keep going.
ReplyDeleteHa! That was my day yesterday! Good for you that you kept going...I didn't :-( Thanx for the push :-)
