Lately I have been feeling sluggish and my muscles have been very tight. My shoulders and hamstrings have particularly been feeling tight. Yesterday I saw a sign for Hot Yoga while out shopping with Chris and his mom. I looked up the yoga studio when we got home and discovered that they had a 9 a.m. class.
Hot yoga was just what I needed! This class maintained the room at 102F, and the class lasted for 90 minutes. Needless to say, I feel a million times better! And guess what? If I go back within a week, my second class is free! I plan to go again tomorrow evening.
The rest of the day so far has been spent shopping. I didn't buy much, but it was nice to be out walking. I hope you all are having a fantastic week!
This blog was started as a way of keeping myself motivated to keep working out, and the blog has been successful in that aspect. I started running in 2007, and it really has transformed my life. I have discovered so many inspiring individuals through the "blog world" and many delicious recipes. I use this blog to keep track of my training and write about the fun things in life. Awww that sounds awesome. With our current weather, even I would love to do Hot Yoga :) I'm glad you feel better. Also, I would recommend sports massage during marathon training, helped me a lot :)
