Because when I call him at work and say, "What are the odds you are also majorly craving tacos for dinner?" he responds with "Very High!". That's right people, I'm going to T-flats for dinner! I absolutely do not feel like cooking, and their sweet and spicy sauce with some guacamole sounds like heaven in my mouth!
Yesterday turned out to be rather stressful. I had packed clothes with the plan to run at a local park after work with my friend. She was up late at a baseball game and decided she didn't want to go. Then I got caught at work for an extra two hours. I had hoped to run with Chris if my friend couldn't make it, but he ended up staying home from work because he didn't feel well. By the time I got home, I was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open.
Then last night I rearranged my tutoring time for today so that I could meet Caitlin for a run on the trail by her house before it got dark. We were both pretty excited about this. We should have checked the weather... pouring rain all day! I ended up going to the gym after work and doing two miles (tutoring was postponed due to the crappy weather in which I did not want to drive). The run was so-so. I had a pretty bad cramp the entire time, but I'm really glad I went. I was kind of sad that I didn't go further, but the ab cramps were pretty bad and I was sick of running in small circles. I hope to run outside tomorrow, if there is a break in the rain. I'd rather get in a couple of short running days than no days at all. Plus I do not like running long distances in the gym, because it is boring and the air is stale.
Mile 1: 9:20
Mile 2: 10:00 (included a very short walk break due to that silly cramp)
Two miles are better than nothing, so yay! And Woo-Hoo for tacos!!! I hope you all are having a wonderful day! Tomorrow is FRIDAY!
